We're looking for an Accreditation Specialist to shape and safeguard the calibration Quality Management System (QMS) that keeps MTS's ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation strong. This role drives best practices, stays ahead of evolving standards, and builds the training and competence programs that develop our Field Service Engineers and calibration personnel. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to embed calibration requirements, methods, and training into new products and service offerings from concept through launch, and serve as a trusted quality resource for internal and external customers.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain and oversee the effectiveness of the calibration QMS, and own the health of its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
• Analyze, recommend, and drive best practices to achieve global process alignment across calibration QMS activities
• Monitor evolving industry standards to ensure the QMS continues to meet accreditation and regulatory requirements
• Ensure processes, training, proficiency testing, and competence records are current to support assigned quality system elements and calibration disciplines
• Develop and track quality metrics related to customer satisfaction, and recommend corrective or improvement actions
• Manage customer quality surveys and audits related to MTS calibration services, ensuring compliance with customer requirements
• Support the internal audit program, ensuring a complete, business relevant audit plan, and verify corrective actions are assigned and completed
• Serve as a resource for root cause analysis across quality and calibration issues
• Evaluate special projects and quality related problems, internal and customer facing, and recommend actions to management
• Develop calibration training modules to support Field Service Engineers and other calibration personnel, in collaboration with the MTS Training group
• Maintain the accreditation and competence training matrix, along with FSE calibration authorizations
• Partner with Metrologists and new product development teams to develop and implement calibration methods, processes, and procedures that align with accreditation requirements and ensure readiness for product launch
• Act as the go-to calibration expert when issues exceed the scope of Field Service and Tech Support, resolving quality concerns for internal teams and external customers
• Communicate clearly and professionally, and drive results through influence, championing change and continuous improvement across the organization
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in management, operations, science, or engineering plus 1-2 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree (or equivalent military training) plus 4+ years of related professional experience
• 1+ year of experience delivering results in an ISO 17025 QMS program
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 assessments and accreditation body involvement
• Basic understanding of MS SharePoint site maintenance
• Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong critical thinking, interpretive, and analytical skills
• Active participation in external assessment activities (such as A2LA, ANAB, etc.) preferred
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma preferred, with implementation experience a plus

Compensation Information:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.70-$50.00 based on relevant education and experience.
