OTP Staff Nurse- LPN/ RN

Heartview Foundation is seeking a dedicated OTP Staff Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing compassionate care and support to individuals receiving medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Pay Range:

LPN: $27 - $32/ hour, depending on experience

RN: $32 - $38/ hour, depending on experience

Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and student loan repayment programs! 

This position is a full-time, 40 hour per week, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Shift times range between 5:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts.

On call as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
• Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
• Provide safe and accurate medication administration.
• Conduct urine, drug, and alcohol screenings and interpret results.
• Ensure compliance with Federal OTP regulations, including medication diversions, callbacks, and take-home doses.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Work weekends as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or collegiate program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the State of North Dakota.
• At least one year of nursing experience (preferred).
• Experience working with addiction treatment or in an OTP is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and medication-assisted treatment.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills with patients and families.
• Knowledge of federal regulations governing OTPs.
• Proficiency in electronic health records documentation.
• Ability to educate and train staff and patients on relevant health topics
