Position Overview

Live Life Well is currently hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) in Burlington to provide compassionate, reliable, and person-centred care to clients in their homes.

We are looking for dependable PSWs who are passionate about supporting clients with their daily care needs while promoting their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Provide support with activities of daily living
• Assist with meal preparation and meal-related tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support mobility and encourage independence where appropriate
• Monitor clients' safety and well-being
• Follow established care plans and report changes in a client's condition
• Maintain a safe and comfortable care environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care coordination team
• Provide care in accordance with agency policies and client needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or equivalent healthcare training
• Minimum 1 year of relevant PSW experience preferred
• Experience supporting seniors is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
• Reliable transportation is an asset
