HCRI is seeking a Clinic Director – PT / DPT to join established outpatient orthopedic clinics throughout California’s East Bay. The greatest hiring need is within the Oakland clinics.

This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. Physical Therapists work with patient-centered schedules and have access to experienced clinical leadership, structured mentoring, and extensive continuing education resources.

The organization’s customized EMR was developed specifically for its clinical teams, making documentation efficient and user-friendly.

Clinic Director Responsibilities

• Maintain an active patient caseload approximately 80–85% of the time
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide evidence-based treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the clinic
• Mentor, support, and develop Physical Therapists and clinical staff
• Help maintain standards for clinical quality, productivity, compliance, and patient satisfaction
• Monitor clinic performance and support workflow improvements
• Partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and daily clinic operations
• Promote a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture
• Complete accurate and timely clinical and operational documentation
• Build productive relationships with patients, staff, referring providers, and community partners

Clinic Director Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting
• Outpatient orthopedic experience required
• Previous clinical leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to treat patients approximately 80–85% of the time
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Ability to balance patient care with staff and clinic leadership responsibilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care, team development, and operational excellence

Clinic Director Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of $105,000–$130,000, depending on experience
