Analista de Crédito

We are looking for Credit Analyst to join our Finance team. You will evaluate credit risk, managing a high-volume B2B customer portfolio, supporting cash flow goals, and driving collections performance.

You will partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and external customers to ensure sound credit decisions, minimize bad debt exposure, and increase working capital while maintaining customer relationships.

You will report to Credit Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assess the financial health and creditworthiness of our customers.
• Analyze financial information, payment behavior, and our risk to support credit decisions.
• Recommend credit limits, payment terms, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor customer portfolios and identify potential areas of concern before they influence the business.

• Manage a portfolio of strategic B2B customers, including high-volume national accounts.
• Track outstanding balances and aging trends while maintaining a healthy receivables portfolio.
• Partner with customers to secure payments and resolve issues that may delay collection.
• Support projects that reduce past-due balances and improve cash conversion.

• Investigate invoice discrepancies, deductions, and payment-related concerns.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve disputes.
• Present portfolio reviews, collections reports, and credit risk analyses.
• Monitor goals including DSO, working capital, recovery rates, bad debt exposure, and cash flow performance.
• Transform data into relevant recommendations that support financial and commercial decision-making.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that can improve portfolio performance.

• Be a trusted advisor to Finance and Commercial teams on customer risk and credit decisions.
• Support business growth by balancing commercial opportunities with sound risk management practices.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in Credit, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit & Risk, or related Finance tasks.
• Experience managing B2B customer portfolios.
• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or commercial environments.
