Job Description:
Corporate Affairs inspires and connects customers, communities and colleagues through communications, advocacy and engagement that strengthen TD’s brand and support business outcomes. Within this department, Operations & Enablement provides the coordination, governance, reporting and project support needed to execute on strategic priorities, colleague experiences and events, learning initiatives, and transformation work.
The team partners with senior leaders, communicators, business leads from across the broader department to enable planning, execution and operational excellence across Corporate Affairs.
Job Description
The Corporate Affairs Operations & Enablement team strengthens how the function operates by establishing scalable programs, governance, tools, workflows and capabilities that improve execution, colleague capacity and business outcomes. The team’s AI Enablement program provides a structured path to identify, assess, prioritize, govern, implement and sustain AI-enabled opportunities across Corporate Affairs.
The Manager, AI Enablement and Program Delivery will support the day-to-day design, implementation, execution and ongoing management of the Corporate Affairs AI Enablement program.
The role will oversee the end-to-end use-case lifecycle, including opportunity identification, intake, business-value assessment, prioritization, governance routing, delivery planning, partner coordination, testing, implementation, adoption, monitoring and benefits realization.
The Manager will serve as the central connector among Corporate Affairs business teams, executive sponsors, AI and technology partners, Governance & Control, risk functions, data and privacy partners, Finance, Legal, Compliance and third-party providers. The role will ensure that AI opportunities advance with clear ownership, measurable value, appropriate human oversight, required controls and complete decision evidence.
This is a hands-on program management role. The successful candidate will be expected both to stand up the operating model with leadership from senior leaders, and to run it, including managing multiple use cases, resolving dependencies, maintaining governance records, preparing leadership decisions, supporting implementation and driving sustained adoption.
Key Accountabilities
Establish and operate the Corporate Affairs AI Enablement program
Design, document and continuously improve the program’s end-to-end operating model, governance structure, decision rights, RACI, intake process, prioritization methodology, use-case workflow, reporting cadence and escalation paths.
Translate the AI Enablement roadmap into an integrated program plan with milestones, dependencies, owners, decision gates, deliverables and measurable outcomes.
Establish repeatable routines for intake, triage, scoring, leadership review, governance routing, execution oversight, sustainment and reporting.
Maintain the program’s central portfolio, artifact repository, decision log, risk and issue log, benefits ledger and executive reporting.
Coordinate successive waves of use-case intake, assessment, approval and execution while maintaining visibility across active, deferred, redesigned and completed opportunities.
Ensure the Corporate Affairs process complements the Enterprise AI lifecycle rather than operating as a separate approval track.
Lead AI opportunity identification, intake and prioritization
Partner with Corporate Affairs leaders and subject-matter experts to identify opportunities where AI can enhance decision-making, knowledge discovery, content creation, analysis, collaboration, or workflow effectiveness, particularly within complex, information-intensive or repetitive business processes. Evaluate business problems, opportunities, and workflows to determine where AI can augment human capabilities, enhance decision-making, improve execution, and deliver measurable business value, and develop evidence-based recommendations for leadership consideration.
Help teams refine and submit use cases, followed by triaging and creating evidence-based go-forward recommendations for leadership.
Prepare concise, evidence-based materials for Corporate Affairs leadership decisions on prioritization, investment, risk, sequencing and resource allocation.
Present program progress, recommendations, trade-offs, risks and benefits to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Build trusted relationships across Corporate Affairs, AI and technology teams, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Governance & Control, privacy, data, model risk, information security, operational risk and external partners.
Screen proposed AI use cases for prohibited or unacceptable uses before governance routing, and coordinate escalation, redesign or discontinuation where concerns are identified.
Coordinate pre-deployment readiness reviews and confirm that required assessments, testing, remediation, controls, independent challenge, approvals and authorization evidence are complete before recommending a go/no-go decision.
Manage the end-to-end AI use-case portfolio
Manage prioritized use cases from concept through implementation, adoption, monitoring and, where required, decommissioning. Confirm that every use case has an accountable business sponsor or use-case owner, defined outcomes, an implementation path and agreed success measures.
Coordinate the work of Corporate Affairs SMEs, delivery teams, data owners, vendors, technology partners and risk and control stakeholders. Track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, approvals, testing outcomes, remediation commitments and outstanding evidence.
Ensure material changes to a use case’s purpose, data, model, user group, implementation context, deployment scope or level of human involvement are identified and routed for reassessment.
Integrate enterprise AI governance and first-line risk management
Act as the Corporate Affairs program’s primary coordinator for enterprise AI intake, governance pathways and lifecycle requirements.
Ensure prioritized use cases are registered through the Enterprise AI Intake process before development, procurement, implementation or deployment progresses.
Support accurate classification and routing of use cases based on their impact, materiality, data sensitivity, regulatory implications, and third-party dependencies. Coordinate with the applicable AI Segment Lead or authorized delegate on intake progression, pathway routing and escalation.
Partner with Governance & Control to confirm that required reviews, assessments, controls and approvals are identified early and incorporated into delivery plans.
Translate technical, operational and risk information into clear business implications and actionable decisions.
Coordinate the identification, documentation, escalation and tracking of AI policy exceptions, including required approvals, conditions, compensating controls, remediation commitments and retained evidence.
Identify and coordinate pathway-triggered privacy, data, model, technology, cybersecurity, change-risk and third-party assessments, ensuring responsible partners are engaged and resulting requirements are incorporated into delivery plans.
Ensure decisions, approvals, assessments, controls, testing, monitoring, exceptions, changes and retirement activities remain current, traceable and retained in the appropriate systems of record throughout the AI lifecycle.
Drive adoption, AI literacy and responsible use
Facilitate working sessions and communities of practice that strengthen AI literacy, effective prompting, use-case design, workflow redesign, responsible use and quality assurance.
Support leaders and teams in understanding where AI can augment work and where professional judgment, specialist advice or human approval must remain central.
Build practical playbooks, templates, guidance, training, demonstrations and reusable resources for Corporate Affairs colleagues.
Monitor uptake, colleague feedback, barriers and unintended consequences, and adjust implementation approaches accordingly.
Support business teams in navigating AI intake, governance pathways, required assessments, approvals, controls, monitoring obligations, and evidence requirements throughout the AI lifecycle.
