Pay Range:$34.15 - $47.93 Is responsible for supporting all fundraising operations for the Healing Hand Foundation (the Foundation), the charitable arm of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). Oversees donor data management and recognition and supports donor stewardship, fundraising activities, financial reporting and organizational and programmatic administration. Leverages expertise and collaborative approaches to enhance value to the Foundation and SEARHC by streamlining processes and procedures and ensuring appropriate stewardship of donors and donations.

Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job

  • Actively participates as a collaborative member of the Healing Hand Foundation and SEARHC finance teams, ensuring effective communications on fundraising and financial activities.

  • Oversees the gift acceptance process for all donations, including receiving and recording donations, managing the donor acknowledgement and recognition process, and ensuring incorporation of all transactions and donation revenue into financial reporting.

  • Maintains donor database and fundraising platform, including providing data entry and consistent data QA/QC, producing regular fundraising reports, developing automated workflows and ensuring integration with financial systems.

  • Helps coordinate shared activities of the Foundation and SEARHC departments that provide support services to the Foundation, including the Brand & Engagement, Information Systems, and Legal departments.

  • Provides coordination support for Foundation public outreach activities, including for fundraising events and community engagements.

  • Provides administrative support for the Foundation’s ongoing programs, including the Patient Assistance and Scholarship programs.

  • Maintains and manages the Foundation’s files and accounts, inventory of supplies and print assets, reporting deadlines, compliance requirements, contracts and invoices and general communications.

  • Supports document preparation for Foundation board meetings, reporting, and donation solicitation.

  • Participates in a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Communicates and performs all responsibilities in a manner that supports, promotes, and integrates the Foundation and SEARHC missions, visions, goals, and objectives.

  • Externally, develops strong, values-based relationships with donors, board members, vendors and consultants, bank representatives and investment advisors, and community partners and tribal organizations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

Experience Required

  • 3 or more year(s) of professional administrative experience in healthcare, nonprofit and/or tribal organization settings.

  • Experience maintaining data, databases and records

  • Experience following and developing defined processes and procedures

  • Experience working in fundraising, event planning or community engagement roles a plus

  • Experience working with CRMs a plus

Knowledge of

  • Knowledge of Alaska Tribal Health System and Alaska Native culture(s) and politics preferred.
