The Spine Hospital of Louisiana is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Culinary Services Aide to join our Culinary Services team. This position plays an important role in providing exceptional food service to our employees, physicians, patients, and visitors while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service.
- Serve customers in the hospital café and dining areas.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Stock food, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation, serving, and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
