Responsibilities:

Job Summary**

Responsible for operating and maintaining drones to support plantation operations, including mapping, surveying, and crop health monitoring, for PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper.

Job Responsibilities**

* Safely operate and pilot various types of drones for data collection in plantation environments.
* Conduct pre-flight checks, in-flight monitoring, and post-flight procedures for all drone operations.
* Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on drone equipment.
* Process and analyze drone-acquired data (e.g., imagery, LiDAR) to generate reports and insights relevant to plantation management, including MSO (Machine System Optimization) and F.Plantation (Forestry Plantation) applications.
* Assist in the development and implementation of drone-based solutions for various forestry and agricultural applications.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of flight logs, maintenance activities, and data collection.
* Collaborate with plantation managers, agronomists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable information.
* Stay updated on new drone technologies, software, and best practices.

Job Qualifications**

* Have interest to drone pilot, preferably in an agricultural, forestry, or industrial setting.
* Valid drone pilot license or certification as required by local regulations (e.g., Remote Pilot Certificate - would be advantage.
* Strong understanding of drone flight dynamics, navigation, and safety procedures.
* Proficiency in operating various drone platforms and associated ground control software.
* Experience with data processing and analysis software for photogrammetry, GIS, or remote sensing (e.g., Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, ArcGIS, QGIS).
* Knowledge of forestry, agriculture, or plantation operations is highly desirable.
* Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on drone hardware.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in challenging outdoor environments.
* Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
* Physical fitness to handle equipment and work in varied weather conditions.
