The Marketing Manager/Product Manager Neuromodulation is truly a Business Development Partner, expected to partner with our customers who are Neurosurgeon and Neurology.

The incumbent will have the functional responsibility of implementing the vision, business and marketing strategy through:

  • Assist Marketing Director to define vision for the franchise's portfolio and building the associated 5 years strategy;
  • Supervise future product launches so as to maximize return on investment;
  • Deliver cross-functional communication to leverage internal LivaNova resources to achieve unit and revenue growth targets, as well as start-ups, integrating various activities from R&D, health economics/reimbursement, Regulatory, clinical, operations, sales & marketing to ensure industrial and commercial launch.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Comply with the compliance/ethic/code of conducts requirements of LivaNova Group; ensure people are conducting business in a fair and ethical fashion. Individuals in this role interpret and enforce company policy, procedures, and business practices;
  • Define strategy and vision including Business strategy, Marketing strategy, Clinical & Reimbursement strategy, Industrial strategy, etc.;
  • Encourage participation to scientific congresses, market/business intelligence, networking in the field, in particular building a network with Perfusionists community and Key Opinion Leader (KOL);
  • Define the associated strategy / road maps / plans for the various product lines;
  • Deliver intensive cross-functional collaboration in order to align the different players internal or external to LivaNova;
  • Manage our investments: monitor and ensure execution (internal to LivaNova, or with start-ups), apply appropriate processes, like regular Program reviews, relationship with start-ups, definition and follow-up of appropriate dashboards/metrics, proper collaboration with LivaNova internal resources;
  • Coordinate and facilitate the multi-functional activities around the technology development from Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, etc. to ensure a successful execution of the project;
  • Analyze and develop business cases in collaboration with Finance to assess return on investment;
  • Turn investments into Growth: define and ensure execution of the marketing plan and all required marketing activities with appropriate planning, drive, and excellence in execution. These marketing duties including Voice-of-Customer, product definitions when required, definition and execution of launch plans, communication plans & materials, educational and scientific events, etc.;
  • Participate in the Medical Advisory Boards to gather proper customer inputs and voice-of-customer during product/technology/clinical/marketing development;
  • Work with the key multi-functional experts to define critical go-to-market parameters, including reimbursement, pricing, segmentation, target population, market positioning, etc. in order to maximize the growth opportunity generated by the new product launch.
  • Be Partner with sales & marketing teams around the world to define and ensure excellent execution of new product launch plans according to marketing excellence standards.

Ideal Background:

Education

  • Bachelor degree business

Languages

  • English: excellent spoken & written; TOEIC: 700 points over preferable
  • Fluency in another language will be considered a plus.

Experience/Professional requirement

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the medical device industry, including time spent in a marketing position and ideally previous participation in development and launch of a new products and capitals
  • Ability to manage existed products
  • Having the knowledge of Neuromodulation preferable
  • Marketing technical expertise (product development, product launch, KOL management, etc.);
  • Ability to understand, analyze and assess technical, clinical and scientific results;
  • Ability to work with multi-functional players (RA, Clinical, etc.);
  • Ability to use financial data;
  • Ability of strategic thinking and development of marketing strategies;
  • Ability of excellent communication / interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivation, problem solving attitude, quick in action, good team leader
