Job Description:
Department Overview:
The Finance group in Singapore works closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver on its mandate. Currently the team is managing various functions for the APAC region such as:
- Management Reporting
- Tax reporting
- Accounts Payable
- Financial Reporting
- Regulatory Reporting
- Strategic Initiatives
Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for management reporting for the APAC region including financial analysis, expense management, cost allocation and ad-hoc reporting
- End to end understanding of the management reporting and TTP processes is expected
- Lead management reporting presentation meetings with senior leaders
- Responsible for coordinating deliverables with Head Office teams, where applicable
- Prepare and deliver key finance metrics and reporting materials for management committees and board-level forums.
- Responsible for the management of all the Tax Transfer Pricing (TTP) arrangements related to APAC including ensuring they are kept up to date on a regular basis, managing semi-annual attestations and ensuring documentation is up to date
- Tax Reporting including assessment of any upcoming tax changes impacting the business.
- Responsible for preparing and delivering on Australia Regulatory Reporting requirements
- Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit requirements and ensure timely delivery of requested information.
- Provide support for finance operations activities and statutory reporting requirements across APAC entities, as needed.
- Participate in various internal and external initiatives impacting Finance.
- Support liquidity and capital reporting/policies related to APAC entities
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree; professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting
- Strong experience in management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, expense management, or performance reporting
- Experience with financial reporting and planning systems (e.g., Hyperion, PSGL, Axiom, or similar platforms) is preferred (automated workflow familiarity a plus) with the ability to continue to improve and refine skills independently
- Proficient communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and partnering manner
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities
- Strong partnership and relationship management skills; ability to work across functions and organizational lines/levels
- Possess good time management skills
- Preferably understand the Wholesale business and products, although not a must.
