LockNet is seeking a Door Fabricator in our dynamic Door Production Department. As a Door Fabricator, you would impact the company by manually producing custom doors and frames to fill customer orders.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, on-site production role based at LockNet's Nicholasville, KY warehouse facility, including time in our paint booth.


What You'll Do

  • Measuring, cutting, drilling, and crafting doors and frames as specified by the customer (some MIG welding experience a plus).
  • Painting metal doors and frames to meet customer specifications as needed.
  • Packing finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
  • Placing finished goods in designated areas manually or with the assistance of a forklift, as necessary.
  • Basic input of info into computer.
  • Administering and adhering to safety policies, and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Working both independently and within a team to complete daily tasks.
  • Prioritizing and handling time effectively to complete each assigned job.
  • Exhibiting technical knowledge of door production and assembly.
  • Conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety and aligns with OSHA and MSDS standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency with power tools necessary to fabricate hollow-metal and wood doors.
  • Understanding of door and hardware terminology and operation.
  • Excellent safety record.
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • An interest in painting and finishing work is a plus, as this role includes regular time in the paint booth.
