Role Summary:
An SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility companies (electricity, gas, water, and other utilities). The consultant has to work with business users to ensure accurate billing, tariff management, invoicing, and seamless integration with other SAP IS-U modules.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing processes.
Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
Configure billing schemas, rate categories, rate determination, tariffs, and operands.
Experience with Billing Master Data, Rate Configuration, Billing Schema, RTP/ToU Billing, and Bill Print.
Understanding of Contract Accounts, Business Partners, Contracts, and Installations.
Knowledge of SAP FI-CA integration.
Experience with SAP IS-U Device Management and Meter Reading processes.
Handle billing exceptions, rebilling, back billing, and invoice corrections.
Support end-to-end Meter-to-Cash (M2C) business processes.
Work on incidents, change requests, enhancements, and production support.
Perform functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.
Integrate SAP IS-U Billing with FI-CA, Device Management, CRM, EDM, and other SAP modules.
Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
Participate in data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
Ensure compliance with utility industry regulations and business processes.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, and ServiceNow (preferred).
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP modules and utilities billing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
