About the Role
Responsible for the timely delivery of HKRBC capital reporting, such as sensitivities, stress capital, budget and ORSA and managing the financial performance of the company with respect to capital efficiency and solutions.This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely production of HKRBC reporting, such as sensitivities, stress capital, budget and ORSA. (50%)
- Help manage a team of professionals responsible for production of HKRBC reporting, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure a high-performing team. (15%)
- Ensure the sustainability of the remittance to Group. (10%)
- Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to capital management, and propose solutions to mitigate risks and capture opportunities if applicable. (10%)
- Communicate with key stakeholders including actuarial, finance, risk, investment, on capital position and to ensure alignment and buy-in for ALM and capital management initiatives if applicable. (5%)
- Collaborate with Actuarial to drive New Business Management from capital perspective. (5%)
- undefined Work closely with Actuarial, Finance and Investment on analysing the capital related implications of any regulatory or strategic changes if any. (5%)
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years insurance industry experience, experience with capital management / ALM is a plus
- Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant designations
- FSA or equivalent
- Strong business sense and actuarial knowledge
- Experience and knowledge in financial and regulatory reporting, economic and regulatory capital bases desirable
- Proactive and attentive to detail
- Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
- The incumbent is required to obtain relevant license if the job involves in regulated activities.
