Description
Our client is a well established, highly regarded supply chain strategy and logistics engineering consulting firm. They "play" in multiple arenas including hospitals and other healthcare segments.
They are seeking a number of motivated and detail-oriented people to join their team and lead the growth of healthcare client relationships in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial role. As the primary contact for their clients, the Industrial Engineers will manage communications, address inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction, driving loyalty and long-term retention. They will use advanced analytical skills and process improvement experiences to make favorable impacts on the company's healthcare clients. Specifically, the project-based work involves healthcare facility design, process improvement, and inventory replenishment system assessment, selection, and implementation.
While company headquarters are located on the east coast of the US, this is considered a remote opportunity!
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Collaborate with other talented company Engineers, Project Managers, Directors, as well as client teams in the design of hospitals and medical centers, supply chain operations, and clinical process improvement
- Use proven, practical, data-driven industrial engineering techniques to support and validate the creative, ground-breaking principles of cutting-edge hospital design
- Consolidate, filter, and analyze customer data to identify opportunities for operational improvement while supporting the subsequent recommendations
- Assist in developing project deliverables, including presentations, narratives, and other required project outputs
- Supports the research of equipment and other applicable systems and technologies, as requested
- Assists in training analysts on internal processes and improvements while supporting relevant proprietary tools & models
- BE/BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study is required, ME/MS is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical approaches related to complex supply chain resources and plant operations
- Must have deep knowledge of vital hospital systems such as HVAC & PTubes
- 2+ yrs of experience in a hospital or other medical facility environment conducting cost analysis, layout design, inventory analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs & platforms
While visiting clients, sites could consist of warehouse/distribution operations, manufacturing operations with variable environmental conditions.
