What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents restore function, improve mobility, and maximize independence.
Responsibilities include:
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on individualized care plans.
Assist residents with improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy team.
Document treatments and resident outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.
Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional, resident-centered care.
Maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional approach with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications
Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility for licensure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care.
Positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
