Interim Raw Materials Assistant - Hybrid (Seattle, WA)

We don't just sell cutting-edge fashion and accessories, we create it. Our talented fashion design team — Nordstrom Made — develops, designs, produces and sources 50-plus private Nordstrom labels. From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customer love.

This position is an Interim role estimated to start mid November and go through early March 2027.The Interim Raw Materials Assistant would assist the Raw Material Team with development and tracking of raw materials that serve brand and business needs. Adhere to sourcing strategies and Nordstrom requirements and meet product development calendar expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain visual and physical raw material references with complete and current information
• Intake, organize and purge the raw material library
• Prepare shipping documentation and packages/ collect and distribute mail / track packages
• Assist with organizing boards, preparing presentations/reports, and gathering data as needed
• Maintain physical display of strategically positioned materials
• Assist coordinating on site visits and onboarding suppliers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Understanding of raw material types and how they are used in apparel design and developmentProficiency with MS Office suiteStrong organization and time management skills 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in apparel textile industry (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Textile Design in progress or completed (preferred)
• Experience with Flex PLM (preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$25.25 - $40.50 Hourly
