Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Licensing in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Security Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and event attendees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, parking areas, access points, facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and assist with directing visitors and traffic flow during events or daily operations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communication with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
