What you will do

SDA Product Planning Manager will be responsible for new product planning and product-category management of the assigned SDA categories.

  • Product Planning and New product introduction (NPI)

  • Define and maintain the mid-to-long term category strategy, identify growth opportunities, portfolio gaps and innovation priorities

  • Coordinate product launches acting as a bridge between HQD and markets, in cooperation with PL project teams, Brand, Go-to-market and HQE design team

  • Analyse consumer trends, habits and unmet needs to identify winning value propositions and products specifications that outperform competitors

  • Define launch plans at category level

  • Bring to life the selected products defining their specification and colors, material, finish, graphics and labels, working in close cooperation with factory and design teams

  • Attend key project milestones in person – 2\3 times per year

  • Validate consumer-impacting decisions via direct end user research

  • Drive the product lifecycle management process in the HQE systems

  • Own category profitability, supporting pricing, margin optimization and business case validation throughout the product lifecycle

  • Category management

  • Cooperate closely with HQD teams to support on quality, supply and cost activities

  • Analyze competitive scenario to understand product gaps through direct competitor sample assessment, online benchmark, price radar and sell-out analysis

  • Build and maintain a coherent category portfolio architecture covering price positioning and feature segmentation

  • Drive the phase in and phase out strategy

  • Maintain up-to-date all product-related information available to markets

  • Support local markets by removing product-related business roadblocks

  • Market deployment and events

  • Present NPIs status to markets with quarterly updates (online or F2F)

  • Support the preparation of key events and trade shows

  • Overseas business travel to HQD, suppliers and fairs may be required 2-3 times per year.

What you need to succeed

Education: Degree/Master, preferred area Marketing / Economics / Engineering / Design

Must have:

  • Critical and strategic thinking well balanced with well-organized and structured approach, being fast and responsive in daily tasks
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with different stakeholders
  • Natural talent and passion for design and small appliances industry
  • Acts with Passion for Consumers aiming to satisfy their needs

Soft skills: Fast, reliable, autonomous, well-organized with great skills in communication

Languages: English and Italian, Chinese welcome


Employment Type: Fixed-term Contract; Full-Time

Minimum Gross Annual Salary: € 30.000
