HOUSEKEEPERS – Full-Time – Generations Applewood, Matteson, IL

Generations at Applewood is seeking Full-time Housekeepers, Day Shift (8:00a - 4:30p)

~ Every Other Weekend Required ~

Rate is $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all rooms, halls, bathrooms, fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed
• Clean water fountains, sinks, mirrors and glass panels in doors and partitions
• Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.
• Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles

Requirements

for Housekeepers:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Housekeeping experience required
• Housekeeping experience in healthcare is a plus
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine housekeeping duties
• Personable and professional with residents, families, and a team-player with staff
• Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Must pass a background check, including fingerprinting, if not already on the IDPH Registry of Healthcare Workers
