This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Lead.

What will be your main responsibilities?
- The Financial Specialist – Inventory Costing will prepare and analyze monthly inventory accounting, reporting, and other related activities for the North America Business Unit’s Phosphate and Potash segments.
- Responsible for accounting activity, including journal entry preparation, analysis of and journal entry preparation related to Mosaic’s North America Phosphates and Potash inventory activity, including purchases, consumption, material valuation, costing and associated cost of goods sold.
- Provide reporting to various external stakeholders, including governmental agencies and industry trade associations.
- Special projects and other responsibilities as directed by leadership.
What do you need for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting.
- MBA preferred
- Experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting
- Knowledge of auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Understanding of sales accounting and inventory accounting
- Fluent English
