Human Resources Consultant II

Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul is hiring for a Human Resources Consultant II within the Talent and Acquisition section of the Human Resources Department. This position provides assistance with full cycle recruitment, job postings and hiring and selection processes.

Here's What you Can Expect to Do: 

• Partner with departments and hiring managers concerning hiring and selection needs. 
• Source for both active and passive candidates through a variety of recruitment strategies. 
• Write, develop and post job announcements to attract top talent. 
• Review resumes and applications and screens applicants for minimum qualifications.
• Assist in developing testing and administering assessment processes.

Information Specific to this Position:
This position is located at 25 West 4th Street, Annex Building. You will work a flexible (core hours are 8:00 to 4:30) hybrid schedule which requires designated days in the office, with Wednesday being a mandatory office day.

Six years of experience in Human Resources.
Note:

• An Associate’s Degree can be substituted for two years of experience.  
• A Bachelor’s Degree can be substituted for four years of experience. 
• A Master's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations can be substituted for an additional two years of experience.
