Job Description

As a Security Guard Transit Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for riders, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods or special events, and help maintain an orderly environment for transit operations.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and maintenance concern reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
