Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Red River Recovery Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized Residential Treatment Support Specialist to join our team. This isn't just a desk job. You'll work directly with clients while helping keep the daily operations of our program organized and running smoothly.
This position works directly with clients in our residential substance use disorder treatment program and helps keep the day-to-day operations of the facility running smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, can maintain professional boundaries, communicates well, and is comfortable balancing client support with documentation, transportation, and program responsibilities.

What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day support and supervision to clients in a residential treatment setting
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
- Complete regular client check-ins and communicate concerns to the treatment team
- Assist with daily program schedules, activities, and residential routines
- Facilitate New Client Orientation for scheduled admissions Monday–Thursday
- Welcome new clients and help them become familiar with program expectations and the facility
- Complete required client documentation and incident reports accurately and on time
- Assist with administrative duties, including phones, filing, data entry, and other program tasks
- Provide transportation to medical, mental health, dental, and other approved appointments
- Support clients while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Monitor common areas and help ensure residential spaces remain organized and appropriate
- Communicate effectively with counselors, nursing staff, treatment coordinators, and leadership
- Follow agency policies, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards
- Assist with other residential program needs as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required
- Previous experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, human services, recovery services, or a related setting is preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental approach
- Dependable and able to work independently while also being part of a team
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete training
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks
