Accountant – Healthcare - Edinburgh
This role is based in Edinburgh, UK. You will be required to be onsite 2 days each week

Based in Edinburgh, this role will support our manufacturing operations in Ireland and play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting support. Responsibilities will include fixed asset accounting, system reconciliations, and a range of general accounting activities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced, international environment while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Where you come in:
- You will support fixed asset accounting activities, including asset tracking, capitalisation, and reporting.
- You will develop expertise in our CAPEX project accounting module.
- You will build strong partnerships with project teams to ensure capital projects are accurately reflected in the financial records.
- You will perform detailed balance sheet and system reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- You will provide financial analysis and support to the Tax team to facilitate accurate tax compliance and reporting.
- You will drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls.
- You will assist in maintaining robust financial systems, policies, and procedures that support SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
- You will play an active role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information to support business decision-making.
What makes you successful:
- You have prior background in a financial accounting role
- You are a part-qualified accountant (desirable).
- You have Oracle or other major ERP system experience.
- You have worked with different currencies and jurisdictions
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have strong personal computer and business solutions software skills including advanced excel skills.
- You’re a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities and meeting deadlines

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
