 About the Opportunity

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team based out of our manufacturing facility in Mogadore, Ohio, near Akron.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in the label, printing, packaging, or converting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business while building strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.

We are looking for someone who understands consultative selling and can work closely with customers to identify their labeling and packaging needs, develop solutions, and grow profitable business.

What You'll Do

• Develop and close new business opportunities within the label and packaging market. 
• Prospect for new customers through industry relationships, referrals, networking, outbound activity, and other business-development efforts. 
• Manage, maintain, and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts. 
• Build strong relationships with customers through regular communication, customer visits, and value-added selling. 
• Identify opportunities to expand business with existing customers through additional products, applications, and services. 
• Understand customer requirements related to label materials, adhesives, printing, finishing, quantities, lead times, and applications. 
• Partner with Customer Service, Estimating, Prepress/Graphics, Operations, and Quality to develop solutions that meet customer needs. 
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, product recommendations, and sales presentations. 
• Coordinate new projects from initial customer inquiry through quoting, sampling, artwork, production, and commercialization. 
• Monitor customer activity and proactively address changes in sales volume, service needs, and potential account risks. 
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on prospects, opportunities, and new-business activity. 
• Stay current on label and packaging industry trends, competitive activity, materials, and printing technologies. 
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, networking events, and other industry activities as needed. 
• Travel regularly to meet with customers and prospects. 

What We're Looking For

• Previous B2B sales experience in labels, printing, packaging, converting, or a closely related manufacturing industry strongly preferred. 
• Knowledge of pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, printing processes, substrates, adhesives, inks, coatings, or finishing processes is highly desirable. 
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships. 
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
• Ability to understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop effective manufacturing solutions. 
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and sales pipeline independently. 
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to travel to customer and prospect locations as business needs require. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
