THE JOB:

As our Director of Environmental Services (EVS), you will champion operational excellence and drive continuous improvement across our dynamic EVS team. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee leadership in the development and monitoring of our EVS department to ensure that the performance meets and exceeds expectations. Manages and monitors fiscal budget and guest service standards and strategizes to produce both short term and long-term profitability for the company

• Ensures compliance with health regulations for sanitation and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding food and alcoholic beverage service (real time tracking and monthly reviews).

• Oversee the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, work schedules, labor standards, rules  and regulations (OSHA), and general operational functions as part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Maintain a work  environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee  satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment.

• Provide leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within EVS operations, consistent with company  service standards.

• Identify best practices and benchmarks of quality within key business segments in and outside the company.

• Collaborate with company subject matter experts to develop robust standards and guidelines for EVS operations, labor standards, and  Corporate Social Responsibility.

• Provides support to the Hotel CoE with research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, standards, technology and processes for EVS to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the complex hospitality and gaming environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree

• Four years of prior relevant experience directing and managing team members in a similar hotel environment

• Technical knowledge and experience with HotSOS or other service optimization systems

• Previous experience managing team members represented by a collective bargaining agreement preferred
