What is the opportunity?

In this role of Hybrid Effectiveness Coach and Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for coaching and training CMR teams focused on the delivery of an enhanced client experience through approved coaching and learning programs. Work effort is focused on overall effectiveness and performance of the team (e.g. quality coaching and effective feedback, talent management, quality, accuracy and efficiency). You will focus on continuous improvement identification keeping a clear balanced approach between the client experience and mitigation of operational/compliance risk with full alignment to CMR business objectives and Our Collective Ambition vision.

What will you do?

  • Support team members to facilitate advancement through the RBC Collections Skills Coaching programs and ongoing skill development of assigned employees.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Client First principles through effective observational coaching, active listening and modelling; ensure a superior client experience in every conversation.
  • Work in partnership with the people managers to ensure a high level of employee capability and engagement through focused coaching and service management routines.
  • Consistently practice client focused coaching routines including on-the-floor observations, side-by-side coaching, playback room reviews, role play and plug ins to maximize employee development.
  • Actively coaches each employee to successfully master targeted proficiencies and service capabilities in each skill defined in the Stairway to Success
  • Support change initiatives within teams and helps employees understand reasoning behind changes and connection to supporting business objectives.
  • Utilize coaching activities that enable effective call handling and optimize client availability as reflected in the team’s Compliance results

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Management
  • Ability and passion to coach and develop individuals relative to performance and productivity and superior client experience.  
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Operations business process, policy and procedures and compliance requirements  
  • Strong and demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting demands, consultative, highly adaptable, flexible and effective
