Labcorp is seeking an AR Specialist I to join the RCM team.
Work Schedule Hours - Monday - Friday 8am EST to 5pm EST Once training is complete flex hours apply.
Responsibilities
Processing a high volume of out of balance adjustments and refunds within the assigned completion date
Research and communications while maintaining department standards and quality expectations
Supports inventories and reports variances of possible concern
Follows department standard operating procedures for all processes
Duties performed with general supervision
Ensure aged accounts receivable is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year or more work experience with insurance, claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting, billing or accounts receivable
Preferred Qualifications
Labcorp Revenue Cycle Management experience

Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance
Manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity
Meet weekly and monthly production goals

This position is responsible for the specialized processing of accounts receivable transactions in the functional areas of Cash Applications, Cash Posting, and Negative Balances. Responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to processing a high volume of adjustments/refunds, cash posting, research, and communications while maintaining department standards and quality expectations. Supports inventories and reports variances of possible concern. Follows department standard operating procedures for all processes. Duties performed with general supervision.

Pay Range: $17.75-$21.00 an hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
