Description
We're looking for a Python Engineer to join a Risk Technology team within a leading financial institution, building applications and data services supporting risk analytics, financial reporting and financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable Python applications, REST APIs and microservices
- Build data-processing solutions for financial and risk analytics
- Work with SQL, Kafka, Airflow/Flink and modern data platforms
- Integrate with enterprise systems, trading platforms and market data
- Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, Product Control and Execution teams
- Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and production support
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices and SQL
- Exposure to Kafka, Airflow, Flink or similar technologies
- Experience with financial data, analytics or data platforms
- Financial services experience is highly preferred
- Exposure to React/TypeScript is a plus
