The DCIM Intern is a hands-on, project-based opportunity designed for students who are eager to learn, explore technology, and make a meaningful impact in the data center industry.  Rather than being limited to one department or type of work, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects based on their educational background, technical skills, interests, and organizational needs. This role provides valuable exposure to Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions while allowing interns to build technical and professional skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, solve real-world challenges, and gain experience that can help prepare them for a successful career in technology.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Participate in department and cross-functional projects supporting business initiatives.
  • Assist with research, documentation, data analysis, testing, or process improvement efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with team members across multiple departments.
  • Complete assigned project tasks while meeting established deadlines.
  • Attend project meetings and provide status updates on assigned work.
  • Create and maintain documentation, reports, or presentations as needed.
  • Learn Sunbird Software products, business processes, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
  • Present completed projects or findings to management upon completion, when applicable.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements
