Technicien en électricité et automatisation – JLL

Ce que ce poste implique :

En tant que Technicien en électricité et automatisation, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la fiabilité, la disponibilité et l'amélioration continue des infrastructures électriques et des systèmes de contrôle d'un site industriel critique. Vous participerez activement à la maintenance, au dépannage, à la planification des travaux, à la coordination technique et à la réalisation de projets dans un environnement dynamique et collaboratif. Une période de formation et de mentorat structurée vous permettra de développer progressivement votre autonomie et votre expertise. La maîtrise complète de tous les systèmes n'est donc pas requise à l'embauche – nous investirons dans votre développement professionnel pour vous permettre d'évoluer vers un rôle technique de premier plan chez JLL.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

• Participer à la maintenance, au dépannage et à l'inspection des infrastructures électriques (réseaux 120/208 V à 120 kV, transformateurs, disjoncteurs, relais de protection, UPS, génératrices d'urgence)

• Planifier et réaliser les entretiens préventifs, prédictifs et correctifs; préparer les arrêts planifiés, procédures de cadenassage et remises en service

• Entretenir, dépanner, calibrer et mettre en service les systèmes d'automatisation, de contrôle et d'instrumentation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, capteurs, transmetteurs)

• Assurer le suivi technique des travaux réalisés par les entrepreneurs spécialisés et participer aux réunions de chantier, inspections et essais de conformité

• Collaborer avec les ingénieurs, chargés de projets et membres de l'équipe pour résoudre les problèmes techniques et améliorer la fiabilité des installations

• Maintenir à jour les dossiers de maintenance, effectuer les analyses de défaillances et participer à l'amélioration continue des méthodes de travail

• Respecter rigoureusement les procédures de santé-sécurité, de cadenassage, de sécurité électrique ainsi que le Code canadien de l'électricité et les normes CSA applicables

Qualifications requises :

• DEC en électronique industrielle, automatisation industrielle, ou génie électrique avec expérience pertinente; OU DEP en électromécanique ou électricité industrielle avec expérience pertinente

• Esprit d'analyse et aptitude au dépannage avec curiosité technique et désir d'apprendre

• Sens de l'organisation, gestion des priorités et capacité à travailler en équipe

• Bonnes habiletés de communication et souci de la sécurité, de la qualité et de la fiabilité

• Permis de conduire valide

• Capacité physique d'effectuer les tâches du poste incluant déplacements fréquents, travail debout, accès à différents niveaux et manutention de charges

• Disponibilité pour rotation de garde (environ une semaine sur quatre, 24 h/24, 7 j/7) et disponibilité occasionnelle en dehors des heures normales lors d'arrêts planifiés ou travaux majeurs

Qualifications préférées :

• Licence C ou en voie d'obtention

• Connaissance des réseaux moyenne tension et des systèmes de protection

• Expérience avec UPS, génératrices, PLC, HMI, SCADA et réseaux industriels

• Expérience en instrumentation et contrôle dans un environnement industriel critique

• Connaissance de la norme CSA Z462

• Certification en thermographie

Electrical and Automation Technician – JLL

What this job involves:

As an Electrical and Automation Technician, you will play an essential role in the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of electrical infrastructure and control systems at a critical industrial site. You will actively participate in maintenance, troubleshooting, work planning, technical coordination, and project execution in a dynamic and collaborative environment. A structured training and mentorship period will allow you to progressively develop your autonomy and expertise. Complete mastery of all systems is not required at hire – we will invest in your professional development to enable you to grow into a leading technical role at JLL.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Participate in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection of electrical infrastructure (120/208 V to 120 kV networks, transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, UPS, emergency generators)

• Plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; prepare planned shutdowns, lockout procedures, and recommissioning

• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and commission automation, control, and instrumentation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, transmitters)

• Provide technical oversight of work performed by specialized contractors and participate in site meetings, inspections, and compliance testing

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to resolve technical issues and improve facility reliability

• Maintain up-to-date maintenance records, perform failure analyses, and participate in continuous improvement of work methods

• Strictly comply with health and safety procedures, lockout protocols, electrical safety standards, as well as the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable CSA standards

Required Qualifications:

• DEC in industrial electronics, industrial automation, or electrical engineering with relevant experience; OR DEP in electromechanics or industrial electricity with relevant experience

• Analytical mindset and troubleshooting aptitude with technical curiosity and desire to learn

• Organizational skills, priority management, and ability to work in a team

• Good communication skills and commitment to safety, quality, and reliability

• Valid driver's license

• Physical ability to perform job duties including frequent travel, standing work, access to different levels, and handling of loads

• Availability for on-call rotation (approximately one week in four, 24/7) and occasional availability outside normal hours during planned shutdowns or major work

Preferred Qualifications:

• C license or in process of obtaining

• Knowledge of medium voltage networks and protection systems

• Experience with UPS, generators, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks

• Experience in instrumentation and control in a critical industrial environment

• Knowledge of CSA Z462 standard

• Thermography certification
