About the Function
Performance Analytics is integral to Diageo's competitive advantage. The breadth of Diageo's portfolio, distribution network, and access to syndicated and proprietary data sources, including VIP Depletions, Nielsen, NABCA, Trax, and Ground Signal, provide a unique opportunity to generate meaningful business insights. The Performance Analytics team transforms these data assets into reporting, measurement, and recommendations that support commercial decision-making across the organization.
About the Role
Diageo is seeking a Performance Analytics Analyst to support data integrity, analysis, and reporting across the Performance Analytics function. This individual will analyze sales execution KPIs, brand performance, and market-specific questions by translating large-scale sales data, in-store observations, and consumer insights into actionable business recommendations. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to communicate findings, support decision-making, and develop a broad understanding of the U.S. Beverage Alcohol retail landscape.
Purpose of Role
Diageo US Spirits leverages Performance Analytics to create a competitive advantage, improve commercial execution, and support sustainable business growth.
The Performance Analytics Analyst will contribute across several key areas:
- Sales Analytics – Identify and quantify commercial opportunities through analysis of sales execution and activation performance.
- Industry Insights – Develop insights through analysis of the U.S. Spirits and Beer/FMB industries, competitive activity, and marketplace trends.
- Reporting – Deliver reporting and performance measurement across business volume, financial performance, and in-market execution.
- Analytical Operations – Support enterprise analytics initiatives and foundational sales programs, including Perfect Outlet, and other data-driven capabilities.
