Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Management of Horizon systems and storing data

  • Ensures Horizon is updated for all ADPs and information is shared for decision making.
  • Regularly keeps track of System/Application updates and upgrade the system accordingly.
  • Supports AP team to Create Profile, Enter/Input, upload DIP etc. in Horizon Application.

2. Handling sponsorship system and its performance

·   Monitors the security and risk management with regard to child information

and sponsorship systems.

·   Entry of child sponsorship data/information and SO communications through

manual entry, scanning forms, editing, verifying, validating and loading child

information to Single step.

  • Generates all system reports such as SSUI management, Child Correspondence Forms, Detailed Correspondence report and export of Validation forms for the Area Programs.
  • Performs systems upgrades and ensure APs run on current versions.
  • Processes all correspondence in Horizon SSUI as appropriate.
  • Maintains Security of sponsorship data, systems resources and sponsor addresses.
  • Enters Child monitoring data using Horizon.
  • Ensures implementation of all sponsorship systems and software’s support auditors by providing audit information during Area Program audits.

3. Identifying/ Capturing and disseminating knowledge

·   Works with CWB Facilitator to capture/ document lessons, best practices and

innovations and ensure these are shared in annual, semiannual, CWB reports,

and any other relevant communications to stakeholders. 

·   Ensures efficient exchange and sharing of information between programs,

communications team and DME for efficiency in knowledge management.

4.  Supporting other DME processes

·   Reviews cluster M&E databases and quarterly reports to ensure quality, com

pleteness and timeliness, and share status report with supervisor and cluster

managers for action.

·   Updates and manage Cluster M&E database, establish performance trends

and share quarterly reports with supervisor and cluster managers.

·   Maps out key programming business processes in the cluster and programs,

and participate in the process of their analysis and improvement.

·   Provides support to cluster team during design process, to ensure a quality

process and guidance.

  • Participates in CWBT reporting by availing relevant information, such as NO outcome and output monitoring data as well as innovations and lessons learnt.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields
  • Very good computer skills especially excel, word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of statistical packages will be an added advantage
  • Good analytical and writing skills; Basic understanding of design, monitoring, and evaluation. Good data analysis and reporting/ presentation skills
  • Knowledge in GIS, use of mobile technology for data collection and analysis, LQAS methodology and any other relevant technology
  • Basic knowledge on working and operating Mobile Devices efficiently
