Summary:
Review and follow up on unpaid or denied insurance claims and follow-up on related correspondence. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player. Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to type. Previous telephone customer service experience required. Meditech and Cerner systems experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task & perform effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced & high volume environment. Needs to have a good understanding of medical insurance. Minimum of 1 year previous hospital or medical office medical insurance experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$17.99 - $22.48

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
