Qnity has an exciting and challenging opportunity for R&D Chemist in our Semiconductor Technology (ST) Lithography R&D group in Korea R&D Center located in Dongtan, Korea. The ST Lithography R&D group is a part of the global Qnity electronics R&D organization that is a world leading supplier of electronic materials innovation. ST Lithography R&D closely collaborates with the world leading customers to succeed together in both existing and emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop next-generation lithography materials and formulations leveraging expertise in organic synthesis and/or polymer chemistry.
Close communication with other functional groups to develop the best technical solutions and products for lithography.
Apply methodologies, measurement and modeling tools to simulate, characterize, and optimize material functions.
Present technical solutions and innovations to customers and collaborate closely with customer R&D teams to drive technology adoption
Resolve technology challenges through focused scientific methodology, multidisciplinary approach and innovative thinking.
Create and secure intellectual property for Qnity.
Participation in industry and technical conferences.
Qualification
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports and deliver presentations in English.
Effective team interactions with willingness to learn from peers.
The following additional skills and experiences are desired:
Knowledge of analytical technologies
Experience in organic/polymer thin film characterization
Design of experiments
Statistical data analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
