As a Security Officer Driver Entry Control in Ingleside, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required access-control documentation while communicating observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
