Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of company facilities.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help keep facilities, equipment, and systems operating properly.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair doors, locks, fixtures, shelving, furniture, and other facility-related items.
- Assist with heating, cooling, ventilation, and other building systems as needed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work and repairs.
- Maintain an appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and materials.
- Keep maintenance areas, storage areas, and workspaces neat and orderly.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and care for company-owned tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with snow removal, landscaping, groundskeeping, and other seasonal maintenance as needed.
- Ensure company facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
- Identify potential safety hazards and communicate concerns to management.
- Uphold federal, state, and local regulations related to workplace safety, hazardous materials, and waste disposal.
- Perform job duties and functions with flexibility in the event of emergencies, changes in workload, weather conditions, or facility needs.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Abilities:
- Activities require a full range of motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- This position may require standing, walking, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
- This position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
- This position requires the ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Required to perform work inside and outside in varying weather situations.
- May be required to work from ladders, lifts, or elevated surfaces.
- May be exposed to dust, dirt, noise, cleaning products, chemicals, and other common maintenance-related conditions.
- Must be able to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and MVR in good standing.
- Previous experience in building, facility, property, or general maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.

Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role.
- Experience maintaining commercial or industrial facilities.
- Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or general construction.
- Maintenance, facilities, building systems, or related technical education/certification.
