Role Purpose
LSEG is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Content Analyst to join the Deep Data Operations team in Bangalore. This role will play a critical part in expanding and maintaining coverage of Indonesia Government instruments and MERGENT US Treasury data, ensuring that our customers receive timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial market information.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, validating, and maintaining fixed income data while supporting strategic growth initiatives across global financial markets. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in government debt markets, financial instruments, and data operations within a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, maintain, and update fixed income and government securities data from authoritative market sources.
Support the expansion of coverage for Indonesia Government instruments and MERGENT US Treasury content.
Validate and analyze data to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards.
Research market events, instrument terms, and issuer information to enhance data quality and coverage.
Apply data collection policies, controls, and operational procedures consistently.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies through source verification and detailed analysis.
Collaborate with global teams to support customer requirements, coverage enhancements, and process improvements.
Contribute to operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and automation.
What We're Looking For
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Proven ability to analyze and process large volumes of financial market data with a high degree of accuracy while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Interest in financial markets, fixed income products, and data operations.
Demonstrated ability to learn new content areas and adapt to evolving business requirements.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
Fixed income or government securities markets.
Financial data collection, validation, or content operations.
Data analysis and quality management.
Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
Process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
