The actual location of this job is in Basel Tower, Switzerland. Due to renovation work at the Tower as of January 2027, the interim location will be Basel Stücki.
As PMO Manager, Group Operations, you will be a strategic partner to the Head PMO Group Operations. You will help drive the Group Operations agenda, coordinate key initiatives, enable effective governance, and support executive decision-making. What you will do:
Partner with the Head PMO to translate Group Operations strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Lead and manage the Group Operations strategic project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities
Establish governance processes, performance dashboards, and reporting to track strategic initiatives
Prepare executive presentations, business cases, leadership meeting materials, and decision-support recommendations
Build strong partnerships across Group Operations, Global Functions, and Platforms to drive collaboration and execution
Lead communication and change management activities that support business transformation and organizational priorities
Analyze operational and project performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational excellence initiatives
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management, Program Management, or a related field
Proven experience managing complex programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives in a global environment
Strong project management expertise, including governance, reporting, performance management, and data analytics
PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification
Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project or data analysis tools
Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage
