Overview
Element are seeking an Asbestos Report Reviewer to join our technical team, experience of the Asbestos industry is preferred but not essential. This role would particularly suit a BOHS P402-qualified Asbestos Surveyor looking to transition from fieldwork into a more office-based, quality-focused technical role. Previous experience reviewing asbestos reports would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will provide vital technical support in reviewing asbestos reports and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance, and therefore a keen eye for detail is essential.
Responsibilities
- Review asbestos survey reports to ensure they are technically accurate, complete, and compliant with current legislation, HSE guidance, company procedures and relevant industry standards.
- Identify technical inaccuracies, inconsistencies and omissions and liaise with surveyors to ensure appropriate amendments are made before reports are issued.
- Ensure reports meet the company’s quality standards, HSE guidance, and UKAS accreditation requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of reviews and provide feedback where necessary.
- Stay up to date with asbestos regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with surveyors, analysts, and other technical staff to uphold consistency and quality across all reports.
- Use Teams and Alpha Tracker asbestos software effectively to access, review, and update reports throughout the quality assurance process.
- Issue survey reports to clients once all quality assurance checks have been satisfactorily completed.

· Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable
· Experience within the asbestos industry
· Knowledge of HSG264
· Knowledge of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
· Experience of asbestos management software
· BOHS P402 or equivalent qualification
