At our Winnington site, we produce 80,00 tonnes of Sodium Bicarbonate per annum with a range of grades which have different physical and chemical properties that have been developed for use in a wide range of applications, including pharmaceutical, food and animal feed.

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager who will take ownership of the Winnington Site's maintenance strategy, shaping a high-performing, reliable operation that maximizes plant uptime and supports long-term investment goals.
This a pivotal role where you will leading the maintenance team, championing safety, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. Working collaboratively across Engineering, Compliance, and Operations, you'll optimize resources, drive effective maintenance planning, and ensure priorities are aligned to meet business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all multi-discipline maintenance activities associated with the Winnington Site, within budget costs and in compliance with Tata Chemicals Europe SHEQ standards.
- Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to deliver improved reliability incorporating Preventative, Predictive, Proactive and Reactive maintenance techniques where applicable, with a right first-time philosophy.
- Work with the multi-discipline planners to embed structured planning and scheduling methodology within the maintenance work process and fully utilising SAP.
- Work with Maintenance Planners and Engineers, to ensure all Statutory Inspections and Environmentally Critical Equipment routines are carried out to schedule.
- Drive improvement in equipment overhauls through strong working relationships with suppliers and the Tata Chemicals Europe Procurement Department.
- Work with Engineering Stores team to manage availability of critical spares.
- Coach and mentor maintenance colleagues to ensure delivery of the maintenance strategy
- Deliver competency-based training for all maintenance employees ensuring all procedures are up to date and trained out to employees
- Manage legacy site assets to ensure safe and secure maintenance, working with the Head of Health, Safety & Security and Head of Environment & Quality.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Minimum HNC / NVQ3 qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline.

· Experience of implementing maintenance planning systems
· Experience of utilising Root Cause Analysis techniques
· A IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
