Learning Outcomes & Objectives:

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in Integration and Scope Management by assisting with project planning, implementation, and WBS creation. You will play a key role in Time and Cost Management by helping to sequence activities, develop schedules, estimate costs, and track budget baselines. Additionally, you will support Quality Assurance, Communications, Risk Management, and Procurement by monitoring project metrics, distributing stakeholder updates, identifying project risks, and administering vendor contracts to ensure successful, on-time project delivery.

Project Scope & Key Deliverables:

1. Product Design and Development

- Assist in the review of existing SingPost products/ infrastructure/ equipment (Autonomous Vehicle/Mobile Robot, Unmanned systems for First Mile/ Middle Mile/ Last Mile applications, etc) and work on the areas of improvement and enhancement.

- Prepare Design Failure Mode (DFM) and Design Failure Effect Analysis (DFEA) for the various products.

- Establish proper documentation of all the product design concepts and improvements.

- Conduct feasibility studies for next generation products/ infrastructure/ equipment.

2. Product Testing and Optimization

- Develop, optimize and implement the testing plans for the various products.

- Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), follow up on the commissioning of the machines.

- Develop product qualification procedures.

- Conduct product testing, develop product reliability metrics and initiate actions for improvements.

3. Process Mapping and Characterization

- Conduct process mapping of the use cases and develop, improve and optimize the workflows that will enhance user experience.

- Develop operational checklists, procedures and regime.

4. Data Analytics, Visualisation and Reliability Studies

- Develop effective methodologies to collect data for the machine performance studies.

- Conduct data and information collection and surveys on products/ infrastructure/ equipment.

- Develop improvement plans to enhance users’ experiences for products/ infrastructure/ equipment.

- Perform data analytics to derive insights on the performance of SingPost products/infrastructure/equipment and recommend proposals for improvements.

5. Project Management

- Opportunity to learn and execute Project Management tools and skill sets

- Ability to plan and execute Scrum and Agile methodologies in real project life cycle.

- Learn to effectively deal with sponsors, owners, and different stakeholders in a project.

- Assist in conducting meetings and setting up agendas.

- Participate in technical discussions with external solution providers.

Prerequisites / Skills Required:

Proficient in cross-discipline engineering competencies

Analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability

A logical and structured thinker

Good communication and interpersonal skill to handle various situations, customers and vendors

Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modelling

Proficient in C, C++, Python, ROS1 and ROS2

Proficient in Microsoft Products like Microsoft Office, MS Project, Power Apps and Power BI, Google Workspace suite of applications (Doc, Sheets, Slides etc)

Basic project management software experience
