Job Title:  Program Manager – Maersk Ground Freight (MGF), IMEA

Position Purpose

The Program Manager will support the growth, performance, and governance of the IMEA Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) product by driving operational and financial performance management, pipeline governance, project execution, and cross-functional coordination. The role will act as the focal point for regional performance reporting, business reviews, growth initiatives, and strategic projects, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology teams. This role supports MGF growth initiatives, pipeline discipline, technology adoption, and performance governance activities reflected in current regional priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

  • Coordinate weekly and monthly MGF performance reviews across IMEA.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Track delivery against budget, forecast, productivity, and profitability targets.
  • Maintain regional action trackers and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives.
  • Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Financial Performance

  • Consolidate and analyse revenue, gross profit, EBIT, and productivity performance.
  • Support monthly forecasting and budget tracking processes.
  • Monitor profitability improvement initiatives and cost optimisation projects.
  • Prepare financial performance insights and management reports.

Pipeline & Commercial Governance

  • Own regional pipeline reporting and governance processes.
  • Monitor pipeline health, qualification, conversion, and win ratios.
  • Highlight gaps against budget and growth targets.
  • Support commercial reviews and opportunity tracking with Area teams.
  • Maintain pursuit trackers and growth initiative dashboards.

Product Development Support

  • Support development of new trade lanes, growth opportunities, and business models.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating and prioritising strategic growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate implementation of approved product development projects.

Governance & Reporting

  • Manage the MGF governance cadence across IMEA.
  • Prepare materials for leadership reviews and governance forums.
  • Track key performance indicators including:
    • Safety
    • Financial Performance
    • Operational Performance
    • Pipeline Performance
    • Win Ratio
    • Technology Adoption
    • Project Delivery Status
  • Ensure timely reporting and visibility of business risks and opportunities.

Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate regional MGF improvement and transformation projects.
  • Own project plans, milestones, risk registers, and action tracking.
  • Drive execution across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Support technology implementations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure projects deliver agreed business outcomes

Customer & Business Support

  • Develop customer presentations, business reviews, and management updates.
  • Prepare executive reports and presentation materials for leadership discussions.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities and solution development efforts.
