What’s the role
If you are interested in Information Risk Management (IRM) and desire to sit into the driver’s seat where we provide assurance to the organization on the risks we carry in IT world, Enterprise Assurance Services (EAS) is the team you would want to be in. Join our EAS team, where it is a great opportunity for those looking to develop IT Risk review/audit skills.
- Location: Bangalore RMZ-ECO WORLD
- Duration: 5 months (extendable depending on mutual agreement)
- Expected Start Date: September 2026
- Working hrs will be IST 8 am to 4.30 pm.
What you’ll be doing
As an IDT Assurance Intern, your role is important in fortifying the IT risk environment. You will support the assurance team extensively and in course of the same gain exposure and knowledge into IT audit.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaboration with wider Assurance team: Work closely with assurance team to identify, assess, and review data quality relevant to audit and support with minor activities related to IT audit.
- Improvement Initiatives: Support improvement initiatives related to assurance services, ensuring regular and accurate reporting and efficient data management.
- Oversight of Tools and Reports: Support oversee the accuracy of data quality and reports used by the team and stakeholders.
- Reporting: Update audit results in relevant records to preserve knowledge. This would expose the intern to audit documents and how audit findings are recorded.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on assurance outcomes for various stakeholders across IT, including senior leadership.
- Communication: Effectively communicate delivery status and insights to team, ensuring clarity and understanding.
This role demands a strong expertise in IT security and risk management, with a focus on proactive risk management and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, including those in IT security and Risk Management, is highly desirable.
- Preferred certifications include those in IT security and Risk Management.
- Exposure to various IT applications, in particular, development knowledge, is desired.
- Relevant certifications like ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, and CRISC or having a strong desire to work towards obtaining such certifications.
- Exposure to Microsoft applications (Office suite, PowerApps, PBI, Azure etc), python, DBs and Cloud technologies is desirable.
- Should be a strong team player and display the same by volunteering where one can extend support.
- Skilled in identifying potential challenges and proposing effective solutions.
- Demonstrates professional curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
- Highly motivated team player who volunteers support and collaborates effectively.
