Description
The People Manager Development Lead will be a key member of the Learning, Inclusion and People Experience leadership team within the People Function. This role leads a team to design and deliver a best-in-class people management learning offering, enabling business transformation and fostering high performance.
This role spans across both Flutter Functions and the UKI division, but also needs to be able to create products that would be applicable globally requiring close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including business leaders, the wider people team, and the global Talent and Leadership COE.
Developing people managers who deliver the right results in the right way is critical to achieving our strategic goals. This role translates leadership development strategy into effective programmes and initiatives that increase the quality and quantity of people managers within the organisation.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract
What you’ll do:
Use data and diagnostics to identify current and future leadership capability needs
Scope, design, and deliver development programmes that build management capability
Drive engagement in people development initiatives that support leader retention
Report regularly on development initiative progress and effectiveness
Collaborate with hub leads to align people development strategies
Partner with Talent COE and People Partnering teams to ensure alignment
Manage external vendors in programme design and delivery
Establish evaluation frameworks to measure initiative impact
Lead budget planning and management for related programmes
Provide coaching and mentoring to individuals and teams
How you’ll do it:
Strategic leadership & vision — proven senior leadership experience in a global organisation, with a track record of designing and delivering leadership development strategy and building high-performing teams
Cross-cultural communication & influence — strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, effective across functions, geographies, and cultures
Structured problem-solving & decision-making — goal-oriented approach to shaping strategy and driving objectives in fast-paced, high-change environments
Resilience & adaptability — high levels of professionalism and authenticity, able to inspire teams while navigating change
Commercial & operational acumen — strong project and budget management, backed by deep industry knowledge and an active external network
