Description
Core Responsibilities
- Consult with internal and external partners to conduct learning and performance needs assessments and define clear performance outcomes.
- Apply an understanding of how people learn at work to make informed design decisions that account for learner context, accessibility, and real‑world application.
- Lead the strategy, design, development, and/or curation of learning experiences using user centered design principles and established accessibility best practices.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders through clear, consistent communication.
- Recommend and implement learning solutions that align with divisional goals.
- Manage multiple projects through the full lifecycle using established project management tools and practices.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and learning practices, using data and feedback to improve individual solutions and the broader learning approach.
- Pilot and iterate on new learning methods, technologies, and delivery formats.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, with demonstrated strength in instructional design, learning experience design, and content development or curation.
- Proven experience designing learning experiences, with a strong portfolio across digital, blended, and instructor‑led formats.
- Proven experience conducting learning and performance consulting, including needs assessment, problem diagnosis, and recommending solutions aligned to business and performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships, partnering effectively with leaders and subject matter experts to inform design decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, apply inclusive and accessible design practices, and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working within an IT organization and partnering with engineering, product, data, cybersecurity, or technology leaders is preferred.
