Parts Driver

Description

Currently, we are in search of a dedicated Parts Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, prompt, and efficient delivery of automotive parts to and from our wholesale and retail vendors.

• $14.00 to $16.00 Per Hour (experience-based)
• This Position is Full-Time. M – F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Closed Sundays with Alternating Saturdays (Comp Day Off for Working Saturday)

Responsibilities:

• Before leaving, coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries with relevant personnel. 
• Check with the body shop daily to identify immediate parts needs. 
• Deliver and distribute parts to the body shop as required. 
• Verify invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and check payments received with invoices for each delivery. 
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups and unload the truck each night. 
• Handle essential truck maintenance and advise the parts manager if major repairs are needed. 
• Help with stocking and posting orders and maintain a professional appearance. 
• Complete other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• ASE certifications are recognized but not required
• Ability to read, write, and present information effectively 
• Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry 
• Able to lift 50 pounds at a time
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
