PURPOSE
Assist the Head of TIM IFRS 17 or IFRS17 Country Lead by
Managing IFRS17 results generation process for corresponding business unit ("BU").
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist the IFRS17 Country Lead by providing technical and other general support or coaching to the team to ensure work quality is achieved accordingly
Assist the IFRS17 Country Lead by:
managing the IFRS17 results generation process for corresponding BU, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery
reviewing the generated IFRS17 results and ensure all validation passed or with reasonable justifications
raising data issues and findings to BU Actuarial and/or finance, working closely with BU local data representatives on resolving data issues, propose workaround solution for BU to execute
coordinating incoming requests from Group Actuarial, BU, downstream teams such as Alteryx, Oracle and Group Finance.
managing updates, communication and project expectations with Group Actuarial and BU throughout the production cycle or ad-hoc runs and ensure successful delivery of IFRS17 results
exercising judgement using advanced analytical skills and IFRS17 knowledge to perform checking and test, interpret, define and communicate impacts and mitigation actions, as well as maintain documentations for stakeholders
analysing the issues and findings including practical recommendations to close relevant gaps or risks. Escalate issues to the IFRS17 Country Lead on a timely manner
performing compliance checks and ensuring all time compliance with the Group Governance policy including the model documentation, modelling processes and controls.
Analyzing and explaining results to business units
Improving operation manuals based on learnings from production cycle and discussing further process or tool enhancements with the IFRS 17 Country Lead
manage ad-hoc run requests from Group Actuarial or BUs during result production
manage data preparation and other processes surrounding IFRS 17 results generation, as requested by the BUs
Manage end-to-end Actuarial projects/initiatives from Group Actuarial and BUs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
5 to 6 years insurance experience in actuarial functions
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial Science or other Mathematics/Statistics based major
Nearly fellowship member of an internationally recognised actuarial professional body
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Good understanding of Actuarial valuation processes and IFRS17
Good Prophet experience
Good Excel skills
Good Python skills
Good analytical skills
