Job Description
To provide a safe, professional, reliable and confidential chauffeur service to executives and authorised personnel. The Executive Driver is responsible for ensuring punctual transportation while maintaining the highest standards of customer service, vehicle care, safety and confidentiality.Responsibilities
Execute Executive Transportation to ensure safe, professional, reliable and confidential chauffeur service.
Transport executives and authorized passengers safely and professionally to meetings, business functions, airports and other destinations.
Ensure executives arrive at their destinations safely and on time.
Plan routes in advance and monitor traffic and road conditions.
Provide transport services for local and, when required, out-of-town business trips.
Assist executives with luggage and other reasonable travel requirements.
Vehicle Management
Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, roadworthy and properly maintained.
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, servicing and maintenance requirements.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, damage and maintenance requirements immediately.
Ensure vehicle licensing, insurance and required documentation are up to date.
Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records.
Safety and Compliance
Drive in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act and applicable South African road-safety requirements.
Comply with company fleet, transport and health and safety policies.
Always practice defensive and responsible driving.
Ensure passengers use seat belts and comply with applicable safety requirements.
Report accidents, incidents and traffic violations promptly.
Customer Service and Professional Conduct
Maintain a professional, courteous and discreet manner always.
Provide a high-quality service to executives, directors, clients and visitors.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive movements, meetings, conversations and company information.
Demonstrate punctuality, reliability and flexibility.
Maintain professional appearance and appropriate business etiquette.
Administration
Maintain daily trip sheets, mileage records and fuel records.
Submit vehicle-related reports and documentation as required.
Monitor scheduled services, license renewals and vehicle maintenance.
Assist with transport arrangements and ad-hoc corporate travel requirements.
Continuous improvement to ensure effective service
Adhere to agreed processes to deliver targeted operational results.
Continuously strive to enhance and improve the Facilities & Corporate Procurement processes.
Represent and market this process internally to peers and clients.
Identify and report on Facilities & Corporate Procurement process issues
Undertake internal audits to ensure that systems and processes are in line with the intended outcome.
Service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide customer services in line with quality and performance standards
Build positive customer relations and solve or escalate customer queries and complaints
Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and report to your line leader.
Proactively suggest improvements in customer service and relations where applicable.
Contribute to a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.

Experience, knowledge & skills required
Grade 12.
Valid South African Code B driver's license.
Valid PrDP where required for the duties performed.
Minimum 5 years' professional driving experience, preferably in an executive/corporate environment.
Clean or acceptable driving record.
Good knowledge of Gauteng and major South African routes.
Defensive driving experience/training will be advantageous.
Previous experience transporting senior executives or VIP clients will be advantageous.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

The Recruitment Process:
TA Interview: This will be a discussion with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to give you an understanding of our business, our culture & values and more context on the role. It will also allow us the opportunity to get to know you more and ensure OMI can meet your career aspirations.
Panel Interview: This will be with 2 members of the Senior Leadership of the Hiring Team and 1 member of the HC Team.
Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and will sometimes happen concurrently with Vetting through an external service provider & Internal Verification.
